  1. thanks for popping to my blog, and good luck with your challenges (your cards are stunning)
i have had the blog for a while and got no follows or interest. i actually emailed sue asking for advise which she did give, she can promote hers on c&c which is why she has so many follows which is the bonus, but she made a decision a while back to post a blog post every day, which is great if you dont have anything else to do like family home etc,(as i say the real world) sue is lucky her life is craft so its part of her job,she also schedules her posts so say on monday she will sit down and do a weeks worth of blogs and schedule them for the week, i was on twitter a while and promoted the blog on there but i got fed up like you with negative chat and bitching so i gave that up. i signed up to google plus and joined a few communities plus added craft like people etc, i have struggled to get followers, i dont do fb or social groups like that , but i have had more hits on the blog from google. you can link your blog to it so every time you post it will go on there, also you can join its free the crafty blogs site, if you go on my page top left hand side your see the icon if you click it should take you there, that draws a few over to you too. im on craft forum which sometime i post on there to get people over to look at the blog if some things new etc. its really hard to promote the blog when your not a recognised figure in craft.but i just keep going. i also never did a challenge before, this week was the first time i did a few i found that draw peeps over too but you do those already.
as for selling. its really hard selling your cards, there are so many card crafters its hard to compete. and again its the well known crafters that only sell well.
i do have a shop online but again its not worth it really i have had two sales on it in the past 2 yrs, sue allowed me to use her name on the site but that didnt work either lol. i sell in the village i am in. which is ok but i get asked for bespoke cards more than selling ones already made up. but i am to stop that now because it costs me more usually.
i have a few cards in a tourist information centre were i live i sold them wholesale. im going to try that around some more areas nr us but being in scotland everyone wants scottish cards. i have just found someone that will give me off cuts of tartan (kiltmaker) for free so my Scottish line in cards will be starting soon.
its hard but you just keep going... im also thinking of giving some to charity as i have so many lol

any way onto your card, what a great idea using engraving card never thought of that before, love the card to its stunning,
i might have to try the engraving boards, are the ones you use the ones that have designs on them for kids etc. if so i think one of my kids has a kit i might nick it lol
i hope i helped a bit if you want any more info on anything or just a crafty natter lol just give me a buzz my email is lorrainetaylor27@googlemail.com

    take care hugs
